A child never forgets his/her Bar/Bat Mitzvah day. We at Temple Bat Yahm ensure a Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony of lasting meaning and beauty, a memory to be cherished for a lifetime, a milestone on the path of Jewish learning. Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah program, custom designed for TBY by Cantor Grant, is among finest available, with our Cantor, Rabbis, Educator and a team of tutors guiding your child every step of the way toward his/her rendezvous with the Torah.

Over the course of approximately seven months a Bar/Bat Mitzvah training program designed exclusively by Cantor Grant and staffed by specially trained instructors each Bar/Bat Mitzvah student is prepared to do the following:

•	Lead a complete Shabbat service in Hebrew and English
•	Read from the weekly Torah and
•	Haftarah portions
•	Deliver speeches which attest to his/her understanding of the Torah and Haftarah portions
•	Complete a Mitzvah Project for our Temple or community
