Judaism pays great attention to treating
the dead with respect (kvod ha-met)
and to comforting mourners (nichum
aveilim). Our community at TBY is
here to support you in your time of
loss. To be in touch with one of our
clergy, please click here.
Yahrzeits
Remembering the anniversary of the
death of a loved one, are read each
week at the Shabbat Service, along
with the recitation of the Kaddish
prayer. Temple members receive a written
notice of upcoming Yahrzeits. The
monthly list is also printed in the
Scribe newsletter.
Tributes
Many Temple members make
a contribution to specially designated
TBY funds (scholarship, music, social
action, etc.) in memory of the death
of a friend or relative. For further
information, please contact the TBY
office.

Memorial Plaques
When we lose a loved one, we
confront lifes most difficult
challenge. Memory is one of Gds
greatest gifts. May the memory of
your loved one abide as a blessing
and continue as a source of inspiration.Rabbi
