Jeff Margolis is the founder of The TriZetto Group, Inc., the market leading supplier of software and related services for the healthcare insurance industry. In 2002 Jeff was named Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Orange County (CA). He joined TBY in 1995 and has continuously held leadership positions since 2003. Jeff has served as Tikkun Bat Yahm Committee Chair, Treasurer , Strategic Planning Chair, 1st Vice President, and now as Temple President.

   
 
   
 

In the local community, Jeff serves on the Rose Project Advisory Council for the Jewish Federation and the Hillel Advisory Board. At UCI, Jeff is a member of the Chief Executive Roundtable, the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Paul Merage School of Business, the Center for Research on IT and Organizations Advisory Board and the Center for Healthcare Management and Policy Advisory Board.

Jeff is on the Board of Directors of Hoag Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the National Board of Trustees for the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, as well as the University of Illinois Foundation.

  Personal Notes
 

Jeff met his wife Debbie during high school in Boulder Colorado, and they will celebrate their 25th year of marriage in 2009. They have two daughters, 19 and 16 years old. Debbie is also very involved in the local Jewish community and presently serves at President of Women’s Philanthropy of the Jewish Federation. In their spare time they enjoy travel, fine wine and the company of good friends. Jeff is considered a hotdog connoisseur.
