Temple Bat Yahm meets the needs of every Temple member through thought-provoking and engaging program offerings seven days a week. Members participate in social action projects, learn Hebrew, attend lectures, and enjoy concerts. Several of our most successful programs really stand out: TBY’s Youth Engagement Program, TBY’s Music Program, and the Distinguished Speaker Series.
Youth Engagement programming has grown exponentially in the past few years engaging over 60 teens every year from within our community. The creation of KOBY (Kids of Bat Yahm: 3rd - 5th graders), JOBY (Juniors of Bat Yahm: 6th - 8th graders), TTOBY (Temple Teens of Bat Yahm: 9th - 12th graders), and most recently MOBY (Minis of Bat Yahm: Kindergarten - 2nd graders) gives the Youth of TBY a chance to grow together through programming like social action projects and Jewish education both locally and through NFTY (National Federation of Temple Youth).
Music is the language of the soul. Temple Bat Yahm offers an in-depth connection to Jewish music through Cantor Jonathan Grant and the Music Program. This campaign will ensure that music remains an essential part of Temple Bat Yahm.
The Distinguished Speaker Series brings the community together with a variety of speakers to entertain and educate. Previous speakers have included William Shatner, Dennis Prager, Rabbi David Wolpe, Maestro Carl St.Clair, Ron Wolfson, and URJ President Rabbi Rick Jacobs.
Campaign donations will ensure the future of these and other programs
