Mark your calendars and get ready to help Temple Bat Yahm do tikkun olam within our community!

Bring these items with you whenever you come to Temple. The bins will be out for Shabbat as well.

What we do

Purim Carnival Shalack Manot Project making baskets for Temple members who are home bound; Mandle House; and Jewish Family Services. Watch for a list of items needed and volunteer information. Temple Caring Committee will deliver baskets to Temple members.

Jeremiah Society

Volunteer with the Jeremiah Society on the third Sunday of every month. The group welcomes Temple Bat Yahm congregants to volunteer to assist with art projects, serving food, singing and dancing celebrations as well as Judaica lessons. Please contact TBY for more information.

New School Supplies Needed!

TBY Social Action is spearheading a project to collect new school supplies for families with deployed military members and children in need in Orange County.  Parents - have your children choose something when they are getting their own school supplies.
Deposit all donations in the box at Friday night services or in the TBY Preschool.

Angel Bins Clothing/Textile Drive

The following items will be sent to developing nations as a low cost alternative to new items.  Items that are not in usable condition will be repurposed or recycled; including yarn, wiping rags, insulation fiber, and more.  Please bring your used clothing, blankets, linens, shoes, stuffed animals, small toys, hats, belts, purses, & backpacks to the bin in the TBY parking lot next to the E-waste box.  (No housewares or glass items, please.) Questions?  Contact WTBY.

Every Day is Mitzvah Day!

Our belief is “every day is mitzvah day!”  The Social Action Committee will be accepting suggestions and offering opportunities for congregants and community members to perform “tikkun olam” – the repairing of the world.
