Temple Beth El of South Orange County is hosting the first annual B'tzalel Arts Festival right here in Orange County. Throughout the month of May, there will be a large selection of creative arts classes, including Kids and the Sea (Children's Photography) which has been sponsored by Rabbi Gersh Zylberman and Temple Bat Yahm. This sponsorship allows for TBY members to take any class offered as part of the festival at the "member rate". When you check out, simple enter the discount code "MEMBER1" for $10 off AND if you register for classes before April 15th, you automatically get an additional 10% off! Make sure you register today because spaces for each class are limited.
The festival will culminate in a large B'tzalel Arts Showcase Festival on Sunday, June 4th from 4:00-7:00pm at Temple Beth El in Aliso Viejo. The festival will feature the art that was created with an Art Walk &
Photography Gallery for the Fine Arts, stage performances of the Performing Arts workshops along with special guests from around our community, and a B'tzalel Bistro which will feature the Culinary Arts. This community wide event is not to be missed even if you cannot attend any classes.
Our JCAL Director Barry Koff is allowing any JCAL students who would like to participate in this class, to attend in lieu of the last day of JCAL this school year.
Through the arts, our collective creativity has the ability to build personal and communal connections to our Judaism and to God. We named this festival in recognition of B’TZALEL, the chief artisan of the Tabernacle who was in charge of building the Ark of the Covenant.
