FYI: TBY Bylaws concerning Voting and Proxies

Section IV.4 Temple Bylaws
“Members in good standing shall have the right to vote on all matters coming before meetings of the congregation. A member in good standing is one whose dues are current. The privilege of voting shall be vested in the individual and in the case of family, husband and wife each have one (1) vote."

Article XIV.1 Proxy Vote
A proxy vote shall count as a vote present. The proxy must be in writing and must be presented to the Recording Secretary prior to the opening of the meeting by the President. A proxy vote may be exercised only in questions of real estate transactions, a constitutional amendment, the selection or retention of the Rabbi, and election of officers. In all other cases, a member must be present to vote.
