Section IV.4 Temple Bylaws
“Members in good standing shall have the right to vote on all matters coming before meetings of the congregation.
A member in good standing is one whose dues are current
. The privilege of voting shall be vested in the individual and in the case of family, husband and wife each have one (1) vote."
Article XIV.1 Proxy Vote
A proxy vote shall count as a vote present. The proxy must be in writing and must be presented to the Recording Secretary prior to the opening of the meeting by the President. A proxy vote may be exercised only in questions of real estate transactions, a constitutional amendment, the selection or retention of the Rabbi, and election of officers. In all other cases, a member must be present to vote.
