Pronounced: meesh-LOE-akh mah-NOTE
Origin: Hebrew, literally “sending portions to one another.”
A phrase taken from the Megillah [Book of Esther] that commands the Jewish community to give small packages
of food or gifts to friends on the day of Purim.

This year, we are excited to celebrate Purim with our TBY Family by fulfilling the four mitzvot of Purim:

  • Hearing the Megillah: There are a few ways you can fulfill this mitzvah: Join us for our Adults Only Megillah & Martinis or come to our Purim of the Masters drive through Megillah experience!

  • Give a Gift: These Mishloach Manot bags are our gift to you, but did you know that you could be a Gift Giver with TBY by helping us underwrite these bags? When you register below, consider being one of our Gift Givers! Another way to be a gift giver would be to help deliver these bags to our congregants who cannot come pick them up.

  • Eat a Special Meal: Since Purim falls on Erev Shabbat this year, turn your Shabbat table into something special with fun Purim themed recipes from the Mishloach Manot bags which also contain some flavorful hamantaschen for dessert!

  • Tzedakah: Helping those less fortunate that ourselves is one of the best ways to practice tikkun olam, for this mitzvah, we ask that you make a donation to RESTORE OC, a fund established by Share Our Selves to help alleviate the stresses faced by our neighbors right here in Orange County during this pandemic. For the High Holy Days, we raised over $600 for RESTORE OC.

Registration for the Mishoach Manot is closed. If you believe you are receiving this message in error or would like to confirm if your registration was accepted, please email
